ESA takes a consulting approach to filling your executive team or special project needs by developing a partnership with your company. We are committed to making your experience with our executive recruiting process efficient, effective, and successful. Here’s how we work to bring the best people to you in the shortest time frame possible:

  • Search – With a clearly articulated profile of the ideal executive or consultant, we begin by searching our database, contacting people in our professional network, and scanning a variety of published resources to find the professional most likely to match your needs.
  • Screening – We contact the most viable of these individuals to determine their interest and availability. With those who are open to a career move, we determine their motivations, level of interest in the opportunity, skill sets, professional background, personality traits and compensation requirements, all without revealing the name of your firm.
  • Presentation – After internal discussion and agreement, we e-mail to you profiles of those professionals who are most highly qualified for and interested in the opportunity.
  • Interviewing – After you select the professionals you wish to meet, we contact all involved parties to schedule interviews and simultaneously initiate reference checks. We can also coach you or your associates on interviewing techniques that will help you elicit the information you need in a legal and ethical manner. If you wish to assess professionals, we'll help you find the applicable resources to assist you.
  • Offer Negotiation – When you've determined which individuals you are seriously interested in bringing on board, we'll assist in the negotiation process, helping you to offer a package that is both market competitive and fair to you, yet attractive to the executive, as well.
  • Contractual Logistics – In some cases, clients hire professionals as direct employees under the management of their own Human Resource department. In others, they elect to have ESA be the employer of record and handle all payroll and benefits issues. We will support your preference either way and draw up all necessary contracts or agreements for your approval.
  • Transition Coaching – To ensure a smooth job transition for the new hire and his or her family, ESA provides executive coaching wherever necessary. Going this extra step has proved invaluable in the past in preventing or minimizing family move-related problems, changes of heart, and relations with former employers.

Timeframes

The time required to hire an executive-level candidate can range from a single day to 60-90 days or longer, depending on several key variables: your availability for consulting and interviewing, the scarcity or abundance of viable professionals, and the time of year. ESA makes every effort to minimize the time required to connect you with the most qualified executives and professionals so that their transition to productivity happens as quickly as possible.

Fees

Because we take a consulting approach with each client and customize our services to meet your company’s needs, ESA works on a retainer basis at negotiated, competitive rates, tailored to your company’s budget and timeline. Compensation agreements for consultants vary with each individual.
